On Tuesday, the Nobel Prize in Physics was awarded three U.S. scientists for their discoveries in quantum mechanics.
The Swedish Royal Academy of Sciences awarded the award to John Clark and Michel H. Davorit and John M. Martinenis “to discover the normal quantum mechanical tunnel and the amount of energy in an electrical circuit,” the organization said on X.
