George Clooney gives the fans a rare glimpse of his family’s life in France, away from Hollywood’s glow.
In a new conversation with EsquireJay Kelly Star, 64, shared that he was “very lucky” to raise his twin, Alexander and Ella, alongside his wife Amal Clooney, on his farm in the French countryside.
For Clooney, who grew up on a farm himself, the preparation now looks like the perfect place for his children to die.
“You know, we live on a farm in France. A good part of my life that grew up on a farm, as a child, I hated the full idea of it,” I explained.
“But now, for them, it looks like that-they are not on their iPad devices, as you know? They have dinner with senior and they have to take their dishes. They have a much better life.”
The actor admitted that he was concerned about raising his children in Los Angeles, where the pressures of fame and Hollywood’s lifestyle may overwhelm their childhood.
“I was worried about raising our children in Los Angeles, in the Hollywood culture. I felt they wouldn’t get a fair shock in life,” Clooney said.
“France-it is somewhat not to give S–about fame. I don’t want them to wander in their concern about the photographers. I don’t want to compare them to the children of another famous person.”
The interview also seized a wonderful family moment at the lunch table.
Clooney proudly served lemon and chicken pasta with fresh tomatoes from their garden, while Amal, 47, was joined that the family was “fortunate” that she had not cooking any of them.
Laughter, George turned into his twin and asked what happened if their mother cooks. Without losing a rhythm, Alexander and Ella answered, “We all died!”
Although the spouses welcomed their twins in June 2017 and usually moved away from their private lives from the public eye, Clooney has never moved away from expressing the joy of his children.
