Spain announces the prohibition of weapons on Israel

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez imposes a ban on weapons on Israel as part of an attempt, with his words, “the genocide in Gaza is stopped.”

The nine measures, which must enter into force immediately, include a ban on traveling directly to the participating people in what he called a “massacre”.

“Spain will be on the right side of history.”

Other steps include increasing humanitarian aid in Gaza, additional funding for the United Nations Relief and Business Agency for Palestinian refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) and a ban on importing products from Israeli settlements.

The goal is to support the Palestinian population, but also to ensure the trial of those responsible for the attacks on the civilian population.

Regarding the official accusation of genocide, Sanchez said: “This is no longer a defense, it is not an attack, it is the genocide of an isolation people.”

He criticized what he described as “indifference” and “collusion” of the international community.

The United Nations defines genocide as “actions committed with the intention of destruction, completely or partially, a national, ethnic, racist or religious group.”

South Africa filed a lawsuit against Israel in the International Court of Justice in The Hague on charges of violating the genocide agreement in the Gaza Strip.

Israel refuses to accuse the genocide against the Palestinians and accuses the terrorist organization Hamas of using the civil population systematically as human shields.
