Columbus, Georgia-during a trip to Fort Bening on Thursday, Defense Minister Beit Higseth said that the ministry is working to re-establish deterrence, “so that when he sees the enemy American, they do not want to be with us.”
The comments came after Higseth spoke at a graduation ceremony of the candidates’ school for candidates (OCS), where the candidates were assigned as a first lieutenant in the army or the fourth in the navy.
In the aftermath of the ceremony, he made statements at the lunch of the commander of the basic infantry officers – the sharing of stories about his children who want the shirts of the guardian of the army, and indicated that the most moment in his life will revive them if they earn them.

Higseth also touched on military priorities under the Trump administration, noting that the Ministry of Defense’s concentration is rebuilding the army to ensure that it obtains the best possible equipment from a Warfighter perspective, through all services.
“Then re -establishing deterrence, so that when he sees the enemy as an American, they do not want to be with us,” Higseth said. “Because they know that they will get the end of work for the best warrior on this planet. We are re -established it. Whether it is in the midnight hammer, freedom of movement, or poisoning Narco who allow the American people.”

He said that the world knows that when President Donald Trump speaks, it means work, adding that the graduates are the faces of this deterrence.

“We will pay you the decision -making authority to you, the level of the family, the level of the company, the level of the battalion unit, as much as possible.”

During the trip, the secretary also disturbed that the Ministry of Defense might have a new name on Friday, which was Diana Stansei and Emma Colon the first to confirm.
Trump will sign an executive order that allows the administration to use the “Ministry of War” as a secondary title, as well as expressions such as “Minister of War” for Hegseh.

Higseth also directs to propose legislative and executive procedures to make the name change permanently.
