The Chromebook Plus line is a step above the traditional Chromebook books, and Lenovo Flex 5i Chromebook Plus is superior to his excess colleagues. This laptop looks more luxurious than its price at a relatively reasonable prices, and is decorated with somewhat strong interior parts to pave the way.
This does not mean that this book is perfect – it’s not. However, the total performance of Flex 5I, fully and impressive loudspeakers, impressive battery life, and choosing the health port dominates greatly on the few small things that I did not like in this laptop, such as the width and the web camera.
All in all, this laptop has gained a strong place as one of the best Chromebook books that you can buy now, but it costs a little more than the budget options that you may see often.

Lenovo Flex 5i Chromebook Price and Specs
Chromebooks has made a long time since her conception in 2011, and they are not Chromebooks that can be more familiar with them. In particular, it is a guarantee that Chromebook Plus models contain some relatively strong specifications, including:
-
At least the Intel i3 series or AMD Ryzen 3 7000 of the twelfth generation (i.e. the CPU from 2022 or newer)
-
At least 8 GB of RAM
-
At least 128 GB of storage
-
1080 pixel web camera with time reduction
-
IPS screen with a resolution of at least 1080 pixels (full HD)
Lenovo Flex 5i Chromebook Plus exceeds these minimum specifications requirements, providing a reliable device that OS works in a great package. Our review unit is available for $ 599 in Costco, with the following specifications:
-
Intel Core i5-1334u
-
Intel Iris XE Graphics Intel Iris XE
-
RAM 8 GB
-
256 GB SSD storage
-
14 inches, 1920 x 1200, IPS Touch Show
For the Chromebook Plus model, $ 599 is a fairly sharp price, but in contrast, you get a strong and easy -to -size device with a wonderful battery life and a variety of ports better than average, and comprehensive construction quality.

I love when the laptop looks more expensive than it is
I had guessed that Lenovo Flex 5i Chromebook Plus was a $ 1,000 laptop if I don’t know its price already. Wonderful construction quality. The laptop feels strongly constructed, with no giving when pressing the structure, strong joints that do not scream or stick, and a cold aluminum cover of touch resists fingerprints well.
The aluminum cover features a two -colored gray design, with a straight line that divides a light -third -gray gray shade that covers the darker storm that covers the rest of the structure. The bottom of the structure that includes all the interior of the laptop and the keyboard is made of plastic, so it cannot maintain the fingerprints of the fatty fingers like the cap, but it still looks great.
At 3.5 pounds, Flex 5i is not lighter Chromebook available, but its compact dimensions are 12.4 x 9 x 0.8 inches and its 2 -in -1 flexible capabilities make it a great ease of workers and students from remote.
Ordinary old offer, decent
Lenovo Flex 5i Chromebook Plus features a 14 -inch shiny display, 1920 x 1200 pixels, which is decent. After examining a few movie trailers on YouTube and the colors in the character Trello that I use every day, I can say with confidence that the screen is sharp, but the color of color and contrast can use some work.
What is meant to be deep black comes a little gray, and the colors that should think of the screen are very silent. The highest silent colors, the screen is crowned in 60 Hz. However, to watch TV episodes and YouTube videos accidentally, this screen was completely good.
Next, the laptop touch screen is very response, but it is not very smooth while passing.
A large group of ports
Most Chromebook books offer only one or two outlets, but not Flex 5i Chromebook Plus.

Ports on the left side.

On the left, you will find:
-
3.5 mm, sound jack
-
MicroSD card reader
-
USB-A 3.2 Gen 1
-
USB-C 3.2 Gen 2

The right side outlets

On the right:
-
USB-C 3.2 Gen 2
-
Power button
-
Rock folder
-
Kensington
The only port that this laptop lacks is the HDMI port, but at this price, I certainly don’t bear points for that. Flex 5i runs a two-sided USB-C ports for a comfortable charging, a feature that rejects some expensive laptops that are included.
A fresh, fully body
Mobile loudspeakers are not great, and because Chromebook books are usually cheaper than low -winding laptops, their loudspeakers are generally worse than most laptops. Fortunately, this is not the case with Flex 5i Chromebook Plus.
The sibros that this laptop is preferred using Waves Maxxaudio, and frankly, it does not look much worse than my daily drivers, which is the high -quality alternate alternation bar of Yoga 9i.
I listened to the new MGK album “Lost America” on the repetition and I forgot that I did not use the Bluetooth sound amplifier several times. It was velvet and fragile singing, and Al -Jahir’s notes came to fill every song, and I felt that I could hear every accurate instrument and music component.
Best Bluetooth speakers, tested for sound, transportation, and a great factor
My only complaint with Flex 5I amplifiers is that at 30 percent or less, they are laughing. Specific amplifiers become loudly in full size, but its size is 40 percent, it seems to be 20 percent.
Good keyboard
I like with Flex 5I keyboard. There is a good amount of travel, the switches are comfortably spaced, and writing in general is an enjoyable function experience. As an independent writer, write a little every day, and I enjoyed the way my fingers worn lightly from a key to a key and generate minimal errors on this keyboard. My only simple complaint is that I hope that the keys will be more large to get a better sound.

I can’t express the same passion for this laptop tracking panel. It is a mylaar tracking panel, which is of the second degree compared to glass tracking tools, but it is completely logical in this chrome book from the price perspective. Unless I use the tracking plate with a super light touch, my finger is affected and skipped when trying to move. I recommend a good wireless mouse pair with Flex 5I instead of using the compact tracking panel.
Flex 5I webcam is similar to most mobile web cameras
After this laptop surprised me in the wonderful speaker quality and a cheerful keyboard, I was hoping to have a webcam above the average as well. Unfortunately, Flex 5I Chromebook Plus contains an old 1080p webcam that provides the same disappointing image.

Nothing is special about the webcam.

For its favor, this webcam is somewhat sharp and accurate in color in the correct lighting, at least compared to other portable webcam. In addition, it contains a sliding privacy, which I consider a nice bonus feature at its price of $ 599 at reasonable prices.
Lenovo Flex 5i Chromebook Plus and perform standards
There is no denial of Flex 5i Chromebook Plus is not one of the best performance among all laptops-MacBooks and laptops for games will explode this small machine of water. However, for Chromebook, Geekbench 6 presented impressive and real world test results.
Flex 5i Chromebook Plus got a multi -core Geekbench degree 7,024. At the time of the test, there was only one Chromebook book a higher degree than Geekbench: The Acer Chromebook 516 Ge, which got a degree of 7660.
Flex 5I was used as a daily driver for a few days, and he had no problems dealing with the exemplary work burden, which usually includes a Chrome photo editing program, multi -chrome tabs open for search, the watch application to play temporary, and the Spotify app to play music. With the opening of multiple tabs, there was no delay when working in Google documents or downloading new pages.
Flex 5I fans do a great job to keep the laptop cold while working, but they are constantly working. The noise is moderate (and not noticeable at all with the process of music), so it did not bother me during the test, but the fan noise is fixed, whether the laptop is connected or not.
Lenovo Flex 5i Chromebook in addition to the battery life
Continue Lenovo Flex 5i Chromebook Plus 12 hours and 13 minutes In our battery test, which includes shaving the 1080 -pixel version of Steel tears 50 percent of brightness until the laptop comes out of the juice. This result may be given compared to Macbooks and modern Windows laptops, but compared to the age of the Mediterranean Chromebook at the time of this report, Flex 5i’s performance was impressive, as about 30 percent of the broker lasted.
Is Lenovo Flex 5i Chromebook Plus worth all this effort?
Lenovo Flex 5i Chromebook Plus is definitely worthy for anyone looking for a budget -friendly laptop with an excellent battery life, elegant design, 2 -in -1 portable, and the ability to carry out simple productivity tasks smoothly. In addition to these features that many people should look forward to looking at the menu when shopping, Flex 5I also contains a few additional privileges, such as a wonderful collection of ports, a groove pad and amazing speakers.
Chromebooks used to be somewhat limited as it can do with Chromeos, but now, multiple applications contain original options, and cloud games can be more accessible, in addition to that variables like Flex 5i provides an increase in random access memory and storage that enhances their longevity.
However, Flex 5i Chromebook Plus will not be the perfect choice for everyone. You are away from Flex 5I if you plan to use a laptop tracking panel a lot or if you are looking for a Chromebook to play games frequently, as the laptop is displayed in 60 Hz. Instead, I recommend the Acer Chromebook Plus 516 GE, which is a game for the front, which features a large 16 -inch screen with a 120 Hz update rate.
