Dolly Barton recently shared a heart attack with Kelly Clarkson after the death of her ex -husband, Brandon Blackstock, who died in 48 due to skin cancer.
After her husband, Karl Dean, lost earlier this year, Barton had her experience to provide comfortable words. Clarkson encouraged focusing on the positive memories of their time together, saying: “I think you just have to be grateful for the years you went through with someone, and just tried to remember the best of it.”
Parton also suggested that Clarkson should take energy from those memories and “just recycle it and let it become part of you.” She stressed the importance of honoring the BlackStock memory and finding consolation in the idea that their loved ones “are in a better place than we are these days.”
The pop queen, who has not yet spoken to Clarkson, is planning to catch her soon, saying: “I love Kelly. I love a country,” in reference to the former Reba Mcentire, the former wife of my father Blackstock. The two will cooperate in advertising for the new Parton notes, “Star of the Show: My Life on Stage”.
Reba Mcentire also shared her ideas about the death of Blackstock, and published a heart message on Instagram. “Last week, my older son Brandon Blackstock went home to be with God,” she wrote.
“His struggle has ended, and he is in peace eternal in the presence of God. There is no one like him, and I am grateful for the time when we had together.”
Clarkson and Blackstock married seven years and have two children together. While Clarkson did not publicly treat his death, her residence offers in Las Vegas were postponed to care for her children while he was ill.
