Madrid (AP) – The Spain Association is closer to organizing a regular seasonal match in the United States.
On Monday, the Spanish Football Association approved a request for the match between Villarreal and Barcelona to play in Miami on December 20.
The following is that the union achieves UEFA and FIFA approval.
The seventeenth league match will be played at the Hard Rock Stadium.
For the first time, the league tried to organize a match in the United States in 2018, but the idea was eliminated after some players, fans and clubs criticized. His subsequent attempts to play there also failed.
Organizing a party abroad was part of the league goal to boost football and its brand in other countries. The league has a long connection with SPORTS SPORTS and The SPORTS and Entertainment Group, which is part of Stephen Ross, including Hard Rock Stadium, Miami Dolphins, Miami Grand Prix of Formula One and Miami Tennis Open.
