Windows, Utah – A driver tries to set the speed record during Race The organizers said that the famous Bonville Salt Flats in Utah died on Sunday after losing control of his car.
The driver, Chris Rashki, was treated by medical professionals at the scene, but died of his wounds, according to the Southern California Time Association, which organizes the famous racing event known as “speed week”.
Raschke lost control of the car about two and a half miles away. The association said that the death was under investigation.
For decades, people used the flat -like surface in the salt bonfille apartments, 100 miles (160 km) west of Solt Lake City, to put speed records sometimes lead 400 miles per hour (644 km per hour). The speed week has always been a tie for motorcycles and cars.
Raschke, 60, was a driver known as The Speed Demon. He worked in car sports for more than four decades.
According to the Speed Demon Racing team, Raschke worked in the Ventura Raceway race in the early eighties of the last century, where the wheels and cars raced in the mini securities section, learning to manufacture and maintain race cars when working with the famous engine creator and later became a driver for the DePon Demon team.
The racing week event started on Saturday and continues until Friday.
