Los Angeles mayor Karen Bass announced on Tuesday that its city will join the collective lawsuit to stop what it says is “reckless unconstitutional raids in the Los Angeles region.”
Bass said that Los Angeles joins the lawsuit because the Trump administration treated the city “as a test issue for its ability to push its political agenda forward while pushing the constitution aside.”
“The city of Los Angeles, along with the boycott, cities, organizations and Angelos throughout Los Angeles, takes the administration to the court to stop its clear violation of the United States constitution and federal law,” Bass said in a press statement. “We will not be afraid – we make Los Angeles an example of how people who believe in American values do each other and take over.”

Los Angeles Angeles Hedy Feldestein Soto said that the lawsuit aims to send a message to the Trump administration that the city will not allow the raids to become a “record operating procedure.”
“The federal government has focused thousands of armed immigration agents, many of whom lack the identification of visual identity, the military forces in our societies, the conduct of unconstitutional raids, income, unknown detention, and the cultivation of fear and chaos among our residents.” “Today’s suggestion to intervention, we will not stand by our side and allow these raids to continue or become the standard operating procedure in our societies.”
A coalition of individual immigrants and immigrant calling organizations, led by the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) in California and the non -profit general advisor, presented the original collective lawsuit “Vasquez Perdomo V. Noem,”. Against the Ministry of Internal Security (DHS) demands an immediate cessation of what is described by illegal immigration raids in the Los Angeles region, which targets migrants with “brown skin”.

She accused non -profit to enforce immigration and customs (ICE) to carry out unconstitutional raids and then maintain immigrants in inhumane conditions without beds and deprivation of food and legal advisor. Internal security denied all the claims in the lawsuit, saying that any accusations of racial description are “disgusting and definitely wrong.”

The lawsuit also asks those who are now detained in crowded “dungeon” facilities to reach the lawyer, especially when the conditions are performed and unconstitutional.
This announcement comes in the aftermath of the federal agents who walk through the Mac Arthur Park in Los Angeles and the military vehicles that are deployed in the streets that Bass said is full of children attending a summer camp.
