Employment story

Michigan has long prioritized Meadows out of the gate, but has had to battle several other top schools, including rival Ohio State. but Wolverine He finished June as an elite rusher, even though he was considered a four-star prospect at the time. However, as more scouts focused on Meadows, his rating began to rise, and he went from being a solid pickup truck to Michigan’s best player in the class.

First year forecast

Although he will need to add some weight to become a first-year player, Meadows should rotate in a room that will be missing a lot of top talent.

Notes

Scouting report

Here’s the scouting report from 247Sports’ Andrew Ivins:

A long-limbed pass rusher who will cause opponents a lot of problems with his reach, bend and rhythm. A former basketball-focused athlete with an interest in Division I hoops, he’s still learning all the technical aspects of being an elite defender, but he made big strides between his junior and senior years. He can dive and build speed out of a corner or slide inside to prey on open rushing lanes with his throttle. He works on disengaging from hand passes, but should show significant improvement as a running defender with the added weight as it will make it much easier to get his footing. He remains active in pursuit with his motor and has the agility to change directions efficiently before closing gaps. He’ll likely settle in as an equal front after a development period, but could provide early value as an interior rusher on passes with his length and effort. He should continue to progress and absorb any coaching, but he has the potential to destroy a game at the Power Four level with his athletic ability and physical attributes. He could join former Gonzaga graduates Caleb Williams and Olu Fashanu in the pro ranks if it all comes together.
