
Sunday saw some close matches involving teams heading towards the 2026 summit NFL Draft system, but only one team with one win or fewer was victorious. In a battle between two one-time teams, Cleveland and Miami, the Browns emerged victorious. The sentiment surrounding the latter is bad at the moment and it seems as if there is a clear gap in form between the two worst teams and the rest of the league at the moment.
As a reminder, there are three teams that did not have a first-round pick in 2026 as a result of daily trades, in addition to the Micah Parsons trade: Atlanta, Green Bay and Jacksonville.

New York benched Justin Fields, but the team’s fate remains intact. Tyrod Taylor was unable to lead the Jets to a touchdown in a close scoring contest. One would assume that a quarterback could be targeted in the first round.

It appears as if Miami is rushing toward wholesale changes after failing to score against Brown. Tua Tagovailoa may be leaving the franchise with good reason to not take a quarterback with what appears to be an early draft pick.

Spencer Rattler has given New Orleans good quarterback play this season, but Sunday was a setback. Rattler took four sacks and threw three interceptions in the decision.

Tennessee put up little fight when Mike Vrabel retaliated against his former employer. It was the first game without coach Brian Callahan.

Baltimore is on a bye this week as Lamar Jackson and others get valuable rest.

The Browns were able to end multiple scoring droughts, including scoring more than 17 points, in Sunday’s lopsided win over Miami. Cleveland has a winnable series of games ahead of it, so it will be interesting to see where the team stands in the standings a month from now.

Geno Smith continued to struggle, throwing for just 67 yards in a crushing loss. Las Vegas turned to Kenny Pickett in an attempt to respond to their offensive woes, but found no solution.

Jayden Daniels struggled as the Captains dropped below .500 on the season. They have lost three of their last four games.
